When I started work on the teardrop, I intended to finish within one year. But, in my excitement to power through I could not have imagined how much downtime I would encounter since my workshop is beneath our guest cottage business. Over the past year, Waldo Guest Cottage has been very popular with travelers, and for this, we are grateful. It was a difficult decision, but we have blocked out the cottage for the entire month of August so I can jump back into the project and enjoy a stretch of uninterrupted time to work on it. I am confident now that it will be a matter of months until I have finished the Tallgrass and we can take our custom-designed overland camper on its inaugural trip!

So much has happened in the year and a half since my last post, I decided to jump back into our conversation with this short video to show you how my work on the teardrop is progressing. When I take a break from construction, I’ll return to connect the dots between my last post in February 2018 and this one. In the meantime, look for more video updates.
